This Privacy Policy explains how Gemspire Insurance Solutions, doing business as Insure Health Plans / Compare Healthcare Insurance Plans ("we," "us," "our"), collects, uses and protects information when you visit insurehealthplans.com (the "Site"), submit a form, call or text us. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with lead buyers, other agencies or marketers.

Information we collect

• Information you give us: name, email, phone number, address, date of birth, gender, household members, income ranges, tobacco use, coverage interests, preferred doctors, and health or medical information you choose to share so we can find suitable plans.
• Consent records: whether you checked a consent box, with the date, time, IP address and page where you did so.
• Communications: emails, texts and call recordings or notes from your conversations with us, where permitted by law.
• Automatically collected: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring site and similar usage data, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see below).

We do not ask for Social Security, bank or payment card numbers on the Site. If an application later requires them, they are collected through the insurance company's or marketplace's secure system.

How we use information

• To answer your request, prepare quotes and help you compare and enroll in plans.
• To contact you by phone, text and email as described in our Terms of Use and your consent choices.
• To submit applications to insurance companies or government marketplaces when you ask us to.
• To service your policy, send renewal and plan-change reminders, and keep required records.
• To operate, secure and improve the Site and measure how our pages and ads perform.
• To comply with law, including insurance and telemarketing rules.

How we share information

We share personal information only:

• With insurance companies and government marketplaces (such as Covered California, HealthCare.gov or Medicare plan sponsors) when you ask us to quote or enroll you.
• With service providers that work for us under confidentiality obligations, such as our CRM, email, phone and texting providers, website hosting and form tools. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
• When required by law, such as a subpoena or a request from an insurance regulator, or to protect rights and safety.
• In connection with a sale or transfer of our agency, subject to this policy.

We never sell personal information or share it for others' marketing.

Text messaging (SMS)

If you give us your phone number on a form, or call or text our business numbers, we may text you about your inquiry, including missed-call follow-ups, appointment confirmations and reminders, and information you requested. Marketing texts are sent only with your consent. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help, or contact us at info@insurehealthplans.com or (800) 939-3330.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with, sold to, or transferred to any third party. All other sharing described in this policy excludes text messaging opt-in data and consent.

Calls, prerecorded messages and voicemail

With your consent, we may contact you using automated technology, artificial or prerecorded voice (including AI-generated voice) and prerecorded voicemail. You may revoke consent at any time by any reasonable means, including telling an agent, replying STOP, calling (800) 939-3330 or emailing info@insurehealthplans.com.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the Site working, understand how visitors use it, and measure our advertising. These include Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager (site usage), Google Ads (ad measurement and remarketing) and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel (ad measurement and remarketing on Facebook and Instagram). We do not send your form answers, such as health information, to these advertising tools. These providers may collect information about your visit under their own privacy policies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and opt out of interest-based ads at optout.aboutads.info. We do not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, but we honor Global Privacy Control signals where required by law.

How we protect and keep information

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, and limit access to staff and providers who need it. We keep information as long as needed to serve you and to meet legal and record-keeping requirements for insurance agencies, then delete or de-identify it.

Your choices

• Marketing calls and texts: revoke consent any time as described above.
• Email: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
• Access or correction: contact us to review or correct your information.

California residents

If you live in California, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), to the extent they apply to our agency:

• Know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect, use and disclose.
• Delete personal information we hold, subject to legal exceptions (for example, records insurance law requires us to keep).
• Correct inaccurate personal information.
• Limit use of sensitive personal information, such as health information, to what is needed to provide the services you request. We already limit its use this way.
• Opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information. Our use of the Google Ads and Meta advertising tags may count as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law; you can opt out by enabling Global Privacy Control in your browser or by emailing info@insurehealthplans.com.
• Non-discrimination for exercising these rights.

In the past 12 months we collected identifiers (name, email, phone, address, IP address), personal and insurance information, protected characteristics (age, gender, health and medical conditions), and internet activity. We collected them from you and your use of the Site, used them for the purposes above, and disclosed them only to the categories of recipients listed in "How we share information."

Information used or disclosed in connection with insurance transactions may also be governed by the federal Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and the California Insurance Information and Privacy Protection Act; where those laws apply, they control.

To make a request, call (800) 939-3330 or email info@insurehealthplans.com. We will verify your identity before responding, and an authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with your written permission. We respond within 45 days.

Children

The Site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information except as part of a family insurance quote submitted by a parent or guardian.

Links to other sites

The Site may link to government or insurance company sites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

Changes

We may update this policy by posting a new version here with a new "Last updated" date.
